Led by Dr. Hoi Lam Ip (Helena Yip Nolen), SDCVA is an elite academy where children learn the art of classical singing in languages like Italian, French and German to build essential musical and cognitive skills. Dr. Ip brings two decades of international experience from British Hong Kong, Japan, and America—spanning university classrooms to private studios—and interacts fluently in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. As a mother of three young daughters, she offers a uniquely nurturing environment that understands a child’s heart while setting the highest standards for our three annual community-focused performances.
